Mr. Guevara’s interest in construction started as a high schooler, working during the summer with his father on storm water projects in Montgomery County, MD.  Mr. Guevara is PSP certified with AACEI and is pursuing his CM-LEAN certification with Lean Construction Institute. After studying Civil Engineering at the University of Hartford, Mr. Guevara returned to his hometown of Washington, D.C. to start his career in project management which turned into almost a decade of work on several heavy civil & highway projects. After his involvement on the WMATA Blue Line Extension project, he shifted his career to focus solely on the project controls profession.

As a competitive project controls firm, Aegis has become a National Corporate member of the Lean Construction Institute to expand its services to Lean practices. Jose has published a blog on how Lean construction methods & CPM scheduling can work together as a part of Aegis’ pursuits to provide the best tools for its clientele. As a D.C. native, Jose continues to stay passionate about being part of a firm that has enhanced builders’ efforts to provide the best projects in the Greater Washington D.C. area and across the nation.
